  Temperance has everything going for it. Great beer, a cool space to enjoy that beer, cider and kombucha for non beer drinkers, a patio, BYO/order in food options, plenty of parking, and great staff. Honorable mentions are cool merch, clean bathrooms, and tons of to go beer options. If you’re a stout fan, the Might Meets Right series is one of the best stouts in Chicago.
  
  If it’s your first time coming here, signage is a bit small so just keep an eye out for a swim school sign that’s more prominent and you’ll so the Temperance logo just below it.

  First time there, smooth vibe, right tunes, shuffleboard table! Great place to catch up with friends.

  Longtime fan of Temperance. I stop by the taproom whenever I'm in Evanston. Nothing fancy, but they always have a nice variety of beer styles, bartenders know the beers inside and out, and are great at finding a match for patrons. Use your GPS to Suns Temperance, but it's worth it.

  Very reasonably-priced, quality brews! Excellent staff as well. Saw kids having fun inside and outside at the picnic tables. Good place to have a small party / get-together.

  This place would be great, if it weren't so overpriced. They often have food trucks at events, which is very cool. The beer is excellently made and delicious, if expensive. I've also read that it's a good place to bring kids, but whomever made that recommendation either hasn't been there, doesn't have kids, or doesn't know what they're talking about. If you're looking for really good, locally made beer, and don't mind paying extra for it, this is your place.
