Dr. Pamela Franklin has been my PCP for more than 20 years. She is a wonderful doctor who listens to your concerns and refers you to the best Specialists. She knows them personally and lets you know their credentials. When I tell the specialists who referred them to me, they all know her and say very nice comments. Unlike many other physicians your appointment time spent with Dr. Franklin is longer than the wait. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my appointment. She does not over book schedule and make you feel like you are taking up too much time. She has a professional and efficient Medical Assistant, Vickie, who has been with Dr. Franklin for more than 20 years. She is an assistant who seems to wear many hats. Although most times you have to leave a message, Vickie is very responsible and returns calls quickly. They are both caring and professional people.
Dr. Franklin has been my primary care physician for many years. She demonstrates a great concern for her patients. I appreciate how she calls me out when I am not tending to my health appropriately. Yes there is truth to the voicemail being full at times, due to the volume of clients they have, which could be checked more regularly. Unfortunately, there is only one assistant that wears many hats in the office. So yes office procedural functions could use minor improvements. However, overall if you want a physician who is in this field truly for the health and well being of the patient and not how much they can save the insurance company. Then Dr Franklin and her nurse's assistant Vickie are the fit for you.
