It is definitely worth the time and investment. We were delighted with our work with Kelly on a comprehensive home renovation. Kelly's guidance and professional input informed a stunning result of our 1920's home. Our modern kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and laundry room are first class in quality and with the best finishes. Excellent experience from start to finish. Creative planning to optimize space, many options in showroom. Kelly has an elegant eye, organized, keen attention to detail, responsive customer service, actual to estimate was less than $100 diff (really!). Work crews were professional, on-time, trustworthy, good craftsmanship. Would definitely use KBU again.
Our kitchen and main bathroom were both remodeled by KBU. The whole project was completed considerably sooner than we anticipated and Kelly and all her contractors were very careful to disrupt as little as possible. We were very impressed by the professionalism, courtesy and good humor of all who worked for us, the whole being overseen by Kelly in such a way that we felt we could relax and be completely confident in the whole process. Many thanks to all and we would highly recommend KBU to anyone needing similar home improvements.
We highly recommend Kitchen & Baths Unlimited. K&B remodeled our kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Kelly Thayer is excellent with design ideas, but she is flexible and will take and run with your ideas or will blend hers and yours to meet your needs.
For our master bathroom, she designed the shower section lower than the bathroom floor so there is no lip. Fully ADA compliant. Wheel chair accessible. Don’t need that yet, but maybe in the future.
When we found out our new frig would require 3 inches of space on the left side by a wall for the door to open fully, she suggested adding more space and putting a pantry cabinet there set back enough so it would not interfere with the frig door.
But K&B may not be the least expensive company you will find. Kelly and K&B stand behind their prices and fix mistakes at no extra cost. And K&B will make changes you request beyond the contract at reasonable prices.
Approximately 20 years ago we had our kitchen totally remodeled by Kitchens & Baths Unlimited. When we needed to convert our master bath to a shower we looked at various companies and then realized that we had used K&B Unlimited sometime back and had a great experience with them. Over 20 years later all the lighting and cabinetry looked like it had been remodeled yesterday. Companies come and go but they were still going strong so we decided to go with them.
We met Kelly Thayer and found ourselves a perfect person to advise, and guide us through the choices and work to follow. She has been most responsive throughout the process and always helped us make the right decisions. On occasion, we decided on things that did not look like they were what we needed to do but Kelly was ahead of us and had already provided for what turned out to be the best way to go. Her help was so useful that we ended up redoing the master bathroom and dressing room and much of our other bathrooms as well. Remodeling is never fun but the efficiency and professionalism of the team was wonderful. The timing was as Kelly had detailed to us prior to beginning work and continued on schedule throughout the project. What was above and beyond in addition was how clean the areas were at the end of each day, the timeliness of the workers, and the professional way they worked.
To conclude it is important to note that Kelly has followed up on all the little details that need any completion and has provided us with wonderful new baths and showers.
