  I've been hanging at "da creek" now for years. The creek's cool and true to its name, it is a very winding & crooked creek.
  
  I wouldn't bring the kids though. I don't think there's much for youngins. Take them to the Little Red School House less than 10 min away. Nice pavilions too. Go to the western pavilion (closest to LaGrange Rd). It's the better one.

  Spacious cookout areas where our whole family could spread out.

  A great place to relax and enjoy nature I take my dog here and just walk the paths...

  It's very accessible and offers a pleasant place to relax, picnic, or hike through the woods and along the creek. I enjoy taking photos there year-round.

  In winter it loses a bit of its charm, but you can take a nice scenic drive. Horse stables nearby. Shelters and picnic tables currently covered with snow. Areas clearly marked with numbers. They also have a hand pump for water, which I hope is operational in warmer months.
