Beautiful to walk on the top of the dam overlooking the lake. Walk or run the trail all the way from Lake Mercer to Burke Lake without crossing any traffic. Wooded trails include lots of wildlife, you'll frequently see deer, squirrels, owls, fox, frogs, and birds. Trail is well maintained overall - expect some steep hills along the way. A great way to get away from the bustle of the city and to enjoy time with the family.

Nobody knows about Mercer Lake. It's amazing on a sunny day. There is nice area just south of the dam where I always took my dog to swim when she was younger.

This is a hidden gem. We took our RC boat here and buzzed around the portion of the lake that was not iced over. There is a well maintained trail around the lake. We planned to kayak there, but it is a little too small, but might be good for a beginner.

A great place to enjoy nature, and walk around the trail that surrounds the lake.
