  I love Petplan. I have two Yorkie mixes that are the love of my life. After I paid $1,300 for an overnight at the emergency vet, I realized I needed insurance.
  
  I choose Petplan because;
  - They had the best prices overall compared to the many other options I researched
  - They offer several different coverage plans as well as you can adjust your deductible which lowers your premium
  - They cover hereditary diseases, which a lot of pet insurance companies don’t
  
  Every time I’ve had to call them over the last 4 years the agents have been the most pleasant customer service representatives I have ever spoken with. They are friendly, show a genuine concern for me and my pet, are courteous, and extremely helpful. Their phone number is always on the upper right hand corner of the screen on every page of their website! I really appreciate that. Try finding Amazon’s phone number on their site - dang near impossible.
  
  I cannot say enough good things about this company. My dogs were rather young when I started with Petplan and so I’ve been fortunate that they’ve been in quite good health and not had to file a lot of claims, but that’s how insurance works. We never know what could happen. A serious visit could be devastating to my finances, and I never want to be in a position not to do everything I can for the health of my boys because of money. They are everything to me. I feel completely comforted by having insurance that will cover a major event.
