My mom had to stay at Arcola Rehab for about a little over one month for a fractured femur. I was hesitant at first, but when I visited Arcola, it was clean, inside and out, orderly and busy with activities for the patients. Yes there were a few rude staff members, but the rest of the nurses and staff over compensated. I can never thank enough the wonderful aides and nurses that took and treated my mother like family, like if she was their mother, not just as a patient.
They were very professional, caring and went above and beyond to have her stay there comfortable.
My mom enjoyed the food, events and entertainment, church services that were provided for them. She also enjoyed speaking with the other patients and their families after dinner in the two large Gazebo in the outside yard.
The Physical and Occupational Dept is like a well oiled machine. The Director and her staff are very professional, attentive, insightful to the needs of each individual patient. caring and respectful. We could have not asked for more. My mom enjoyed and benefitted from them so much, that she came back as an out-patient to complete her healing.
We would highly recommend Arcola Rehab.
I have enjoyed my stay. The staff is very nice and generous. Nursing department is very helpful. I receive treatment and medications in a timely manner. My questions and concerns were addressed efficiently. Therapy spends time with you and communicates in positive manner. The building is very clean inside and out. I can feel the change in me physically and mentally for the better.
