Very good service and comfortable environment. The staff are friendly and patient. The doctor was just what I was looking for--extremely down-to-earth, straight to the point, and patient enough to answer all of my questions. I will most definitely be coming back to her as long as I live in the Fairfax, VA,
Like other posters, I'm very grateful to Dr. Herrman for taking the time to talk with me and investigate a decades old, ongoing issue that other doctors had dismissed as 'normal.' She didn't accept that, performed a biopsy and a procedure, and now I feel like I have my life back. She and the other office staff have always been friendly and caring. It's pretty easy to get a timely appointment as well. It's a no-frills kind of place but, as a result, I feel very comfortable there. As long as I'm living in NoVA, she'll be my doc.
Dr. Herrman's was the third opinion I got about an ongoing issue I've had for years, at least 6, and she the first person to do a full examination and come up with a diagnosis.The last two docs had been recommending a fairly new treatment that would have been invasive, and would have been for a completely different problem than mine. True, she didn't seem open to debate about the new guidelines for scheduling mammograms, but I feel secure in her recommendations, and do feel she truly cares bout her patients. The staff has always been professional and supportive, and generally gets appoints set up within a short time frame. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing gynecology services outside of childbearing years.
