The park was empty of people and dogs, so was just perfect!

Yesterday, 20 August, at about 1545 hours at the park I saw a juvenile Coyote on the large football/soccer field, located to your right as you enter the park. This Coyote was not afraid of me and allowed me to get within 40 yards of him. Be aware of this as small dogs are a meal for a Coyote. I was with my Yellow Lab, who weighs 75 pounds, but the Coyote was not afraid of us. I called Animal Control to advise of this animal so close to where lots of folks and dogs get exercise.
